Dr. Sesay was born in New York City, but grew up in Sierra Leone. He attended college at the University of Maryland at College Park and medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed residencies in Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Sesay is a Pediatrician, who is board-certified in Urgent Care Medicine by the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine (ABUCM).

Dr. Sesay worked for Childrens’ Healthcare of Atlanta at their Scottish Rite hospital and numerous urgent care centers across the Atlanta metro area. He served as Staff Pediatrician for Kaiser Permanente at their Snellville and Southwood locations.

Dr. Sesay is married to his high school sweetheart, who is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist and they have four children. The couple founded the non-profit organization called The Mama-Pikin Foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of women and children in Sierra Leone.
